Who we are and what we stand for
Founded in 2015 by Marty Ashton, company director and chief crane operator.
Marty spent a decade in the crane industry before starting Ashton Crane Hire. He saw a gap for tailored, specialist crane hire in New Zealand and built a business to fill it. Ten years on, his name and reputation are behind every lift.
Big lifts.
Big machines.
Big on Safety.
Health, safety, quality and the environment are at the core of every lift.
We work to a Zero Harm philosophy on every job. We take pride in what we do and find safe solutions for even the most complex lifts.
